4 Simple (yet extremely effective) Ways to Start a Morning Routine

Did you know that the choices you make in the morning set the tone for the rest of the day?

What you eat for breakfast MATTERS.

What you look at first thing in the morning MATTERS.

The conversations you have MATTER.

So I want to give you 4 tips on exactly how to set yourself up for success each and every morning. Because these have changed a whole lot for me!

1. As soon as your alarm goes off, think of 3 things you’re grateful for. And this usually turns into 10 or more things you’re grateful for, but start with three to keep it simple and doable.

2. Brush your teeth and #WaterBeforeCoffee. Get hydrated first thing and you’ll watch your energy skyrocket and your cravings plummet.

3. Add protein and produce to your breakfast. This combo of protein and fiber will keep you fuller for longer and will keep your blood sugar more stable than a quickie bagel or muffin.

4. Physically write down your to-do list for the day, then pick the top three things that must get done and anything else you achieve is a bonus. This will help stave off the overwhelm of having too much to do and no time to do it!

So there you go! This morning routine has worked WONDERS for me and I’m excited for you to give it a try, too!
