I remember Hayley signing up for an 8-week nutrition program I was running in August 2020. She had been doing a LOT of work, putting in a LOT of energy, and spending a LOT of time doing programs that just weren’t working for her. She’d lose weight then regain it, felt guilty and scared of eating pasta and pizza and thought skinny was the only worthwhile goal to have.
Well, this lady has done a FULL 180!!! Yes, Hayley still wants to be fit and eat well, but now she does it because she LOVES HOW SHE FEELS! She is strong AF and lifting heavy weights, she’s eating to fuel her body and also to enjoy herself and she’s let go of the thoughts that she needs to be a certain size or weight. Her current goals are to keep getting stronger and to keep fueling her body with foods that make her feel her best (which include pizza & wine!) and she’s also setting a tremendous example for her two children on what healthy actually means.

How long have you been working with Lauren? Since August 2020 – so over 2 years!
What programs have you done? I’ve done 1:1 coaching and have also been in her membership group.
What did your fitness & nutrition habits look like before working with Lauren? Before Lauren, I hated exercise. I was willing to do it, but I knew I would never become someone who ever liked working out. I tried lots of different diets because I always wanted to lose some 10-20 lbs I hung on to after kids. I tried Weight Watchers and Fit Girls challenges, or tracking everything into my fitness pal (mostly programs that made me track a TON or told me EXACTLY what to eat) and I would sometimes lose a little weight but it was never sustainable. I was depressed, anxious, and didn’t feel good in my skin. I spent a lot of time and energy feeling guilty about what I ate, and a lot of things I put off for “after I lose weight” (vacations, clothes, photos, parties, etc.)
What are some of the most impactful changes you’ve made since you started working with Lauren? Hayley 2 years ago would not believe I’m saying this – but I love working out. I LOVE lifting weights and feeling really strong. I strength train 4 days a week and have consistently for a year and a half now and it’s been so beneficial to my mental health! I’m off all antidepressants and anti-anxiety medication, I am down 3 pants sizes… but I FEEL so good. I don’t get sick as often, and I feel like I have a real strategy to cope with stress. I have so much more mental energy that before was wasted on food stress. I eat to feel good – and that includes pizza and wine.
What are you most proud of? Honestly – all of it. I love looking in the mirror and seeing what I see, but I’m proud of the fact that I can deadlift 185lbs and do pull ups. I’m proud that I lost weight in a sustainable, healthy way that has set me up for a better life in general, not just momentary vanity goals.
What would you say to someone who is hesitant to join the Total Transformation Mentorship or is intimidated by the time/financial commitment? I decided to work with Lauren because I was ready for real results. I wanted to feel better and look better (looking better was my #1 goal!) and I knew I needed help. I followed Lauren on social media for a while, and I came to really trust her that she would get me to where I wanted to be. But I knew that also meant that I needed to do everything she told me. That’s why I actually think that Lauren’s programs are “easy” – just listen to Lauren! Show up – energetically – and you can get the results you want. Lauren is the easiest money I’ve ever spent – she literally changed my life. So many other parts of my life improved because of all of the work I did with Lauren – my relationships, my work, my relationship with myself. So I would tell someone to get excited – get excited about all of those things you want, the things you’ve always wished you could do – it’s gonna take work but you’re going to get there!
What are you excited to keep working on in your health journey? I am excited to continue along my strength training journey and to continue to work on fueling my body with things that make me feel my best.
